Geneviève Chaussé is a contemporary artist born and based in Rawdon, Quebec, Canada in the luxurious nature of the Lanaudière region. Graduate in arts and graphic design, she was a conceptual designer and then an art director for many years. Her main artistic process is painting. She is also fond of drawing, digital art, photography, and collage, which prevails in her current approach. She is actually in the making of her first important body of work, entitled: «Bodies and Souls» a series of 12 creations.

L’artiste de Rawdon, Geneviève Chaussé, exposera sa création «Équilibre parfait» au BORDERS – Venice International Art Fair 2021 lors de l’exposition collective Future Landscapes. Cette première participation est une porte grande ouverte sur la multidisciplinarité de l’artiste et l’ampleur de son monde imaginaire.

Geneviève est présentement à la création de son premier ensemble de travail important intitulé: « Corps et âmes ». Cette oeuvre « Équilibre parfait » est la première d’une série de 12 oeuvres en cours. Trois sont achevées. Ce projet est créé à partir d’univers surréalistes issus d’un imaginaire où l’esprit et le coeur se retrouvent. Un art qui se veut visionnaire et symbolique où rêves, réalité et sentiments se conjuguent harmonieusement.
